The Many Faces of Andrew

Andrew bills himself as a "Photographer/Artist/Alchemist" but his body of work is best defined by it's capacity to defy labels, transcend limits, and cross boundaries. While his work as a photographer and educator of photography has been central to his career, one need look no further than TikTok (@melting_cameras) to see Andrew create a novel art form using cameras in a wholly new way. But TikTok is not the only place where you can see another face of Andrew as an artist. Andrew is a champion BMX racer, a former professional wrestler, the inventor of "Punk Rock Pillow Fight", a musician, the creator of hand-sewn custom glove brand FuktOut, and most recently he has entered the world of crypto digital art, offering his first NFT series "D1g1tal Water" on OpenSea. Below is a selection of highlights from Andrew's many lives.

Punk Rock Pillow Fight

Launched in 2008 on the roof of 345 Eldert St in Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY, Punk Rock Pillow Fight was born out of Andrew's love of professional wrestling and performance art, and a deep belief in the unification of people through shared aggression. PRPF kicked off a pillowfighting trend coast to coast that gained national notoriety, culminating in a mention on Weekend Update with Seth Meyers on Saturday Night Live.
