The sound was recorded live at Sanctuary of Hope on Good Friday 2009. I filmed and published the film on Good Friday 2010 as a tribute to the since defunct Sanctuary.
This was recorded live at The Beasts of the East music festival in Brooklyn 2009. The song is called Deep In Quicksand.
This was recorded live the first time I played at The Sanctuary of Hope in the summer of 2008. This song is a basic statement followed by a similar question. “This is our time, this is ours right now. Can you feel it?” I would say they felt it.
The sounds where recorded live at LIT Lounge in Manhattan. The images are pictures I shot around. The cop is “protecting us” from the wild pillow fighters in the background. I found two children beating the kitty carcass with a broom one Sunday early morning. I think the theme here is “destroy what you don’t understand” in a bitter, sadly ironic way.
